Returning Is Not Rebellion

There is a quiet fear that surfaces when you begin returning to yourself.

It whispers that choosing honesty is selfish.
That setting boundaries is rebellion.
That listening to your own needs is pride.

But Scripture tells us:

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
— Proverbs 4:23

Guarding your heart is not rejection.
It is stewardship.

God never intended for you to abandon yourself to prove love.
He never asked you to silence your discernment to maintain peace.

Returning to yourself is not rebellion.
It is alignment.

Ask God today to show you where you’ve confused self-betrayal with humility — and to give you courage to walk differently.

What you share might be the light someone else needs. Leave a piece of your heart here. Leave a Reply
