There is nothing you are avoiding that God hasn’t already seen.
We sometimes treat honesty like it will disappoint Him.
As if naming our pain means we lack faith.
As if admitting exhaustion means we’ve failed spiritually.
But Scripture tells a different story:
“You desire truth in the inward being; therefore teach me wisdom in my secret heart.”
Psalm 51:6
God doesn’t ask for polished prayers.
He doesn’t ask you to explain your pain away.
He doesn’t need you to be strong before you come to Him.
He meets you in truth, not performance.
If you’ve been avoiding a truth because you didn’t know how to hold it in God’s presence, let this be your permission:
You can bring it as it is.
Your honesty does not push Him away.
It draws Him closer.
