The God Who Mends the Cracks

Scripture: Psalm 147:3 — “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

Devotional:
Broken hearts leak hope. But God does not shame the cracks—He gently binds them. Healing isn’t the erasing of pain; it is the mending presence of God in the places that hurt. Let Him tend to the tear you’ve been hiding. As He stitches you together, you’ll find that the seams—though visible—become your testimony: proof that love held what life tried to tear apart.

Reflection / Journal Starter:
Which wound have I kept covered out of fear? What would it look like to let God bind it with compassion this week?

Prayer:
Healer of hearts, meet me in the places I avoid. Bind what is torn, calm what is anxious, and breathe hope where I feel empty. Make my mended places strong and tender. Amen.
