Scripture: Isaiah 61:3 — “…to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes…”
Devotional:
Sometimes we stand in the middle of what feels like ruins and wonder how to begin again. God doesn’t ask you to rebuild with what you lost—He invites you to start with what’s still in your hands. The holy work begins with gathering the fragments: your faith, your breath, your yes for today. In God’s care, even ashes become soil. Your story is not ending; it’s taking root.
Reflection / Journal Starter:
What “piece” of my life (a lesson, relationship, dream, or skill) still remains and can be part of this new foundation?
Prayer:
God of restoration, take these fragments and teach me how to build with them. Exchange my ashes for beauty and my heaviness for praise. Strengthen my hands and steady my heart as I begin again. Amen.
